Daniel Corney Barnes was born on May 19, 1989 in Pensacola, Florida, to Stanley Barnes, Jr., and Eunice Laverne Lewis Barnes. He was educated within the Pensacola Public School System and graduated from Escambia High School in 2007. Daniel studied Journalism at Pensacola Junior College and became a freelance writer. His passion for the arts would lead him to become a multimedia illustrator for the United States Army. He always enjoyed being with family and friends, and he often made the effort to surround himself with people who loved him dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 12:00 PM, Westside Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Wesley, Sr., Officiating. His loving survivors are: father, Stanley (Catherine) Barnes, Jr.; brothers, Stanley (Vera) Barnes III, and David Barnes; sisters, Hannah Marie and Teraney; nephew, Quincy LaBrandon; nieces, Brianna Bethany and Olivia Giselle; other relatives and friends.
