Winnie Pearl Betts Miller affectionately known as "Wendy" was born on September 13, 1951 to the union of John Henry and Ruby Lee Stallworth Betts in Dewey, Alabama. She was educated in the Mobile County Public School System in Mobile, Alabama and furthered her education at Jefferson State Community College and the University of Alabama both located in Birmingham. She was a Registered Nurse at Shelby Baptist Medical Center Alabaster, Alabama until her retirement in 2015. Funeral Service will be Thursday ( June 2nd) 11:00 AM New Vision Christian Church (2383 County Road 95 Helena, Al 35080) Reverend Van C. Houser Pastor and Bishop Demetrius Roscoe officiating with interment following the service in the Alabama National Cemetery. Her loving survivors are: devoted husband; Ray Lamont Miller, loving daughter; Ashley Raye (Ezra) Anderson, sisters; Elizabeth (Francis) Craig, Jeana Evans and Diane Reeves, grandchildren; Angel and Jaiden, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in repose from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the church on Thursday. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
