William King, Sr.

William was born on December 7, 1947 to the parentage of Paul and Nora Hardnett King, Sr. in Calera, Alabama.  He was educated in the Shelby County Public School System, and worked in construction for many years after leaving school.  Funeral service will be sunday (Dec 6th) at 1:00 PM at Westside Funeral Chapel Calera with burial in First Baptist Cemetery Calera.  His loving survivors are: devoted wife of 52 years; Brenda Allen King, his children; Tina (Robert) Hudson, William (Kedra) King, Jr., Joyce (Darrius) King, Pamela King, Sam (Rosalyn) King and Roy (LaToya) King, siblings; Pauline Jones, Alberta Jones, Diane King, Nora Lynn (Gary) Davis, Ben King, Charles King, Clifford King, and Raymond (Brenda) King, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on saturday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Calera Directing.
