Wanda was a former resident of Birmingham, Alabama where she was a member of New Salem Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Hood. She was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was an employee of Fort Benning Army Base in Columbus, Georgia for over 23 years. Funeral Service will be Saturday (May 1st) at noon at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield Pastor Reginald Brown will officiate with interment in Dynasty Gardens. Her loving survivors are: devoted daughters; Locquita Kindall and Torrey Kindall, her mother; Mamie Hair Torrey, brothers and sisters; Daniel (Bridget) Torrey, III, Tony (Claudia) McConnico, Rosie (Simon) McKinney and LaTonya (Curtis) Bledsoe, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from 1:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
