Walter Lee Pierce was born in Vernon, Alabama on December 17, 1933 to Ananias and Ella Mae Daniels Pierce, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and former employee of General Motors Corporation. Funeral Service will be Thursday (9th) 11:00 AM Emmanuel Temple (680 Simsville Road 35007) Pastor Edward McCarter officiating with interment in Alabama National Cemetery. His loving survivors are: children; Marty (Myra) Pierce, Gerald (LaChelle) Pierce, Andrea (Dana) Montgomery and Gwen Pierce, sister; Alice (Harry) Watts, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in repose on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the church. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
