Tyler was born in Montgomery, Alabama on October 20, 2000, and later moved to Calera, Alabama with his family. Tyler was a faithful member of Soldiers Of The Cross Ministries Alabaster, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Danita Ryan. He was educated in the Shelby County School System attending school in Montevallo and later in Calera. He was a 2019 graduate of Calera High School and was continuing his education at Miles College Birmingham, Alabama. Tyler loved sports and was very competitive and accomplished earning many awards during his high school career being nominated by the Alabama Sports Writers Association to be 'Mr. Football" for the state of Alabama. Graveside Service will be Friday (April 24th) at 1:00 PM at Montevallo Cemetery with Pastor Danita Ryan Officiating. His loving survivors are: devoted parents; Kanika and Anthony Prentice, siblings; Anthony "AJ", Kobe, Kayla and Ryan, grandmother; Janice George, and a host of aunts, uncles relatives and friends and a very special friend Kyra Hall. His remains will lie in repose on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Calera Directing.
