Rosie Mae (Glass) Lee

Rosie was born on July 27, 1943 in Calera, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Jessie Lee Tranholm Glas. She was educated in the Shelby County Public School System, attending Shelby County High School Columbiana, Alabama.  Her life's passion and work, was caring for others.  She loved her patients, and her patients loved her.  On October 10, 1959 she married the "Love Of Her Life" Willie Gene Lee, and to this union three children were born.  She was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church Shelby, Alabama.  Funeral service will be Saturday (19th) at 11:00 AM at her beloved Providence Baptist Church Shelby (9572 Hwy 42  35143) Pastor Reginald Mann will officiate with interment in Shelby Cemetery.  Her loving survivors are: devoted husband; Reverend Willie Gene Lee, Sr.,  her children; Mary (Gary) Burns, Brenda (Raymond) King and  Willie (Daisy) Lee, Jr., her sister; Hattie Brown, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the church..  Westside Funeral Home Calera Directing.
