Lifelong resident of Jefferson County, graduate of Wenonah High School and Lawson State Community College, and member of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church Pratt. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and longtime employee of Max Transit Authority. Service of memory will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield Pastor Kathy Evans officiating with interment in Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo, Alabama. His loving survivors are: devoted wife; Maurice Wilson Goodgame, children; Robert Burpo, Michael Goodgame, Vaneous Wright, Tedvin (Felicia) Wright, Shunta (Cornelius) Crum, Lesha Moore, Kendrala Still and Erin Lightfoot, fifteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in repose on Thursday from noon until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
