Pamela was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama born to the union of TheAuthor and Ora Bell Nelson Fikes, Sr. on February 14, 1957. She was educated in the Birmingham Public School System and furthered her education with some college courses. She was a former employee of the Birmingham Board of Education. Service of memory will be Saturday (18th) at 1:00 PM at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield with Pastor James Dunn officiating and interment in Oakland Cemetery. Her loving survivors are: devoted daughter; Tameka Rashun (Roy) James, siblings; Andera (Tina), TheAuthor, Jr., Frank, Antonio (Evelyn), Sr., Michael, Christopher, Lonnie, Inetta and Wanda (Jerome), three grandchildren; Zackery, Kelby, and Zion, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in repose on Friday (17th) from noon until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
