Nathaniel "Nate" Skipwith, Sr.

Nathaniel  "Nate" Skipwith, Sr. was the first of eight children born to William and Ethel DeJarnette Skipwith, Sr. in Bessemer, Alabama on February 28, 1926.  He was educated in the Jefferson County Public School System and Tuskegee University.  Funeral Service will be Friday (7th)  12:00 PM Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield with Reverend Nathaniel "Rickey" Skipwith, Jr. Officiating and interment in Valhalla Cemetery.  His loving survivors are: devoted children; Nathaniel "Rickey" Skipwith, Jr., Karl Anthony Skipwith, Emma (Arthur) Kennedy and Carolyn Patricia Skipwith, brothers; Eugene Skipwith and Charles (Anita) Skipwith, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
