She was born Nadine Annette Clayton Affectionately known as "Annette" to the parentage of Richard Clayton and Henrietta Smith Portis in Brighton, Alabama on March 23, 1957. She was educated in the Jefferson County Alabama Public School System, graduating from Brighton High School. Service of memory will be Saturday (26th) at 2:00 PM at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield with Minister Clinton Calhoun, Sr officiating. Her loving survivors are: devoted children; Timothy (LaCara) Clayton, Andrea (Antonio) Wilson and Charlinda (Edward) Wilson, loving sisters; Bernice Portis Cleveland and Jackie (Charles) Clanton, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
