Mary Etta Jordan Jones

Mary Etta Jordan Jones was born on November 18, 1941 in Bessemer, Alabama to the late William and Almeta Jordan. She met and married Charlie Jones, Jr. and together they would raise a beautiful family with seven children. After dedicating her life to her family, Mary decided to further her education and graduated from Faulkner University, where she received her LPN Nursing License. She would go on to work and later retire from Jones Valley Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, 12:00 PM at Westside Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Larry McMillian, Officiating and Dr. O.C. Oden, Jr., Eulogist. Her loving survivors are: children, Lovell (Angie) Jordan, Ennis Byrd, Mary (Victor) Oden, Charles Jones, Carl (Barbara) Jones, Carlette Jones, and Yvette (Sadiou) Macalou; sisters: Pauline Murray, Evelyn Rutledge, Mary Williams, and Georgia Finley; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
