Mary Alice (Kimbrough) Pollard

​Affectionately known as "May" she was a native of Marengo County, Alabama and longtime resident of Birmingham.  She retired from the State of Alabama as a Social Worker, and was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  She was a faithful member of First United Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1843 Bessemer Road  35208).  Service of memory will be Saturday at noon at the church, Pastor Tremaine Davis will officiate with interment in George Washington Carver Memorial Gardens.  Her loving survivors are: devoted children; Emmett (Cheryl)Pollard, Alicica Washington, and Amy Pollard, her mother; Maria Kimbrough, siblings; Willie (mara) Kimbrough, Barbara Silas, Auther Jean Kimbrough, Maria Lanett (sylvester) Hawkins, and Shelia Davis, three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from 1:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
