Mr. Carter was a native of Talladega, Alabama and longtime resident of Columbiana, Alabama. Also, Mr. Carter is a veteran of the United States Army. After time serving in the army, Mr. Carter was longtime employed with Martin-Marietta as a driver. Service of Memory will be held Saturday (April 27, 2019) at Union Baptist Church ( 1910 Highway 47 South, Columbiana, Alabama 35051) at 11 AM. Pastor Skylar Patterson officiating with interment in Wallace-Campbell Cemetery. His loving survivors are: devoted wife; Elsie Battle Carter, three sons; Jarifa Carter, Dexter Averiette, and Luther Jonathan Carter. One Brother; Jeweral Carter, two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. His remains will lie in repose on Friday (April 26, 2019) from 12 Noon until 6pm at the funeral home.
