She was a resident of Fayetteville, Georgia and a native of Lexington, Mississippi and after graduation relocated to Madison, Wisconsin where she met the love of her life, Earnest Delaine, Sr., and they shared the joys of marriage for 54 years. Service of memory will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cuba, Alabama (5051 Kinterbish Road 10 36907), Reverend Christopher Wayne Davis Pastor and Reverend Walter Ball will officiate, with interment in Cagus Cemetery. Her loving survivors are: devoted husband; Earnest Delaine, Sr., Sons; Earnest (Sandra) Delaine, Jr., and Christopher (Susan) Delaine, Siblings; Leon and Tom Booker, Jr., Roberta Sanders, Pattie Booker, and Mattie (Martin) Walker, four grandchildren and two great-granchildren. Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at Weatherly Funeral Home York, Alabama where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
