Lester Earl Bailey, Jr.

Lester Earl Bailey, Jr. was born on July 13, 1940 in Fayette, Alabama to Mr. and Mr. Lester Earl and Annie Jane Hurst Bailey, Sr.  After high School and College, he taught for many years in the Shelby County Public School System.  Funeral Service will be Saturday (19th)  12:00 PM  Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (2135 Jefferson Avenue SW  35211) with Pastor Dr. Michael Wesley, Sr.  officiating  and interment in Highland Memorial Gardens.  His loving survivors are: devoted wife; Fannie Mae Bailey, son; Lester Earl (LaKeesha) Bailey, III, siblings; David (Mattie) Bailey, Hattye (Nathan) Mayes, Jeanne Legrand and Wanda (K. D.) Caine, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on Friday (18th) from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
