Age 76 of Bessemer made his transition on Sunday (Feb.5,2017). He was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church Bessemer (1730 11th Ave. No.) and U.S. Air Force Veteran. Service of memory will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the church, Pastor William H. Walker will officiate, with interment in Elmwood Cemetery. His Loving Survivors are; Devoted Wife of 51 years; Billie Jean Cook and Brother; Humphrey Cook. His remains will lie in repose on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
