Joe Lewis Etheridge

Joe Lewis Etheridge was born on July 16, 1942 in Safford, Alabama to the union of Lovett and Elnora Shorts Etheridge.  He was a 1960 graduate of Keith High School and in 1964 upon moving to Birmingham, Alabama he met and married the love of his life, the former Clemmie Jean Webb and to this union, four beautiful daughters were born.  In 1970, Joe along with his brothers opened the first of many barber shops in Birmingham known as Etheridge Brothers Barber Shops.  Funeral Service will be Monday (11th)  11:00 AM  Trussville Civic Center (5381 Trussville Clay Road  35173)  Brother Nick Patterson will officiate with interment in Zion Memorial Gardens.  His loving survivors are: devoted daughters; Kimberly Yvonne, JoWanna Lynn and Natalie Patrice, his siblings; Theodore (Betty) John (Sharon), Grant, Danny (Faye), Addie, Alice, Louise and Annette (Louis), three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on Sunday (10th) from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
