James Hubbard, Jr. was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Alabama. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and former employee of U. S. Steel. Faithful and dedicated member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Fairfield (400 Milstead Road 35064) where he served in the Deacon Ministry, Superintendent of Sunday School and Pastoral Concern. Funeral Service will be Friday 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor O. C. Oden, Jr. officiating with interment in Alabama National Cemetery. His loving survivors are: devoted daughter; Torah Covington, grandsons; Jerry D. Woolen, III, Jalen C. Howard and Jaxen A. Howard, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in repose on Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
