James Milous DeLaine

James was a lifelong resident of Sumter County, Alabama, Master Builder and Carpenter and retired Building Instructor. Lifelong member of Grants Chapel CME Church Cuba, Alabama where he served in many ministries during his life.  Service of memory will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at his beloved Grants Chapel , Pastor Izea Blanks, Jr. will officiate with interment in Cagus Cemetery.  His loving survivors are: devoted wife of sixty-eight years; Eliza Watkins DeLaine, children; Burnetta Baskin, Jeanette Lowery, Gregory (Rosa) DeLaine, Cassandra (Bennie) Dixon, Katrina (Quintin) Barlow, and Derrick (Sheneda) DeLaine, brother; Fred (Anna) Adams, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  His remains will lie in repose on Friday from 4 until 7PM at Weatherly Funeral Home York, Alabama where the family will receive friends from 4 until 5PM.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield directing.
