Inez was born in Rome, Georgia to the proud parentage of Willie and Rosie Evans Jackson and at an early age she and her family moved to Calera, Alabama, and there she remained until her death. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Calera for many years before her health began to fail. Funeral service will be Saturday (March 14, 2020) at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church Calera (1616 - 9th Street 35040) Pastor Willie Patterson Officiating and Pastor Erwin Jones (Her Grandson) Eulogist with interment in First Baptist Cemetery Calera immediately following the service. Her loving survivors are: devoted children; Winfred Jones, III, Connie Franklin, Donna (Gerome) Singleterry and Teresa (Moses) Moore, siblings; John (Freda) Jackson and Josephine Lacey, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Calera Directing.
