Gretchen Deneen "NeNe" (Cook) Turner

Lifelong resident of Birmingham,  retired secretary for New Rising Star Baptist Church, and a  faithful member of Beulah Baptist Church Birmingham.  Service of memory will be Saturday November 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church Brighton (4819 Main Street 35020) Pastor Charles E, Hollingsworth officiating and Pastor Leon May, Sr  Eulogist with interment in Elmwood Cemetery.  Her loving survivors are: devoted husband; Cleveland Turner, daughter; Edythe MoShae Taylor, siblings; Victor Cook, Preston (Kimberly) Cook, Pamela (Isaac) Smith, Jacqueline Radford, Veronica Cook, Eivora Cook, and Beulah (Vernon) Hickman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from noon until 7:00 PM at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
