George Scott Jr.

George was born to the parentage of George and Wilma Jean Blount Scott, Sr. on August 16, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama.  He was educated in the Birmingham Public School System graduating from John Herbert Phillips High School in 1980.  He furthered his education by obtaining a BS Degree in Computer Science from the University of Alabama Birmingham.  He was a member of Saint Mark A.M.E. and Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, and former computer analyst for Liberty National Insurance Company and shipping clerk for Rich's Department Stores.  Graveside Service will be Thursday (11th) at 1:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend George Scott officiating.  His loving survivors are: siblings; Jermaine Scott and Wilma Jean (David) Stewart and loving aunt; Carrie Scott and host of relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on Wednesday from 1:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
