Fred Ford, Jr.

Fred Ford, Jr. was born on May 21, 1955 in Canton, Mississippi to Fred and Ollie Bell Chambers Ford, Sr.  He was a 1973 graduate of Canton Public High School and continued his education at Jackson State University Jackson, Mississippi.  Upon moving to Birmingham, Alabama Fred united with Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the Male Chorus.  Celebration of Life Service will be Friday (26th) 11:00 AM Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (2135 Jefferson Avenue SW  35211)  with Pastor Michael Wesley, Sr. officiating and interment in the Elmwood Cemetery.  His loving survivors are: devoted daughter; Fredericka Maria Ford, loving sisters; Clydestine (Jessie) Bilbrew, Gwin Ford and Shelia Davis, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on Thursday (25th) from 3 until 6 PM  at the funeral home.  Professional  Care And Arrangements Entrusted To Westside Funeral Home Fairfield.
