Emma Minor Scott

Emma Minor Scott was born on January 12, 1937 in Montgomery, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lee and Katie Hubbard Minor, Sr.  She was educated in the Montgomery County Public School System and was a graduate of Alabama State University Montgomery, Alabama.  She lived and worked in the Montgomery area for over 50 years before relocating in 1987 to Huntsville, Alabama where she lived for over 27 years before moving to Birmingham, Alabama where she remained until death.  Funeral service will be Thursday (14th) at 10:00 AM at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield with Minister Larry McMillian officiating and  interment in Alabama National Cemetery.  Her loving survivors are: devoted children; Craig (Maria) Scott,  Gayle (William) Hall, Anita (Lyndon Lorenzo) Jones and Tina Scott, brother; Charlie Lee (Leola) Minor, Jr., nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Wednesday from 1:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
