Eddie James Talley

Eddie James Talley was born on July 13, 1928 in Hope Hull, Alabama (Montgomery County) to the proud parentage of  David and Eddie Bell McCall Talley, Sr.,  the third of five sons born to this union. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  After leaving the Army, he returned to Fairfield where he was employed with U. S. Steel Corporation for over 35 years.  He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Fairfield where he served  with  the Usher and Greeters Ministries.  Funeral Service will be Friday (30th) 10:30 AM  at First Baptist Church Fairfield (324 - 59th Street  35064) with Reverend Larry Robbins officiant and Reverend Columbus Sanders, Jr. Eulogist and interment in Alabama National Cemetery.  His loving survivors are: brothers; Willie B. Talley and David Talley, Jr.,  nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends.  His remains will lie in repose on Thursday (29th) from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
