Lifelong resident of Shelby County, Retired Professor from University of Alabama Birmingham and University of Montevallo. Veteran of the US Army and US Navy, retired Shelby County Commissioner, member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Montevallo, and Stone Mountain Masonic Lofge #187. Service of memory will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the church, Pastor John Adams will officiate with interment in the Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo. His loving survivors are: devoted children; Earl Jr., Charlene Bonita Roche, Christine Chenell Cunningham, brother and sister; Roosevelt Cunningham and Daisy Ann Tolbert, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
