Earka Rena Jemison was born on February 1, 1975 to Sarah Jemison Powell in Birmingham, Alabama. She was educated in the Birmingham City School System and graduated from West-End High School. Earka was a dedicated employee of Greyhound and Expect Care. Funeral Services will be held Saturday (October 28) 11:00 AM Westside Funeral Home Chapel (5695 Valley Road Fairfield 35064). Interment will follow in Dynasty Gardens Cemetery (1585 Edwards Street Dolomite 35061). Her loving survivors are: daughters, Katika Nunn, Ebony Jemison, Jermeria Jenkins, and Miracle Jenkins; granddaughter, Jayden Green; mother, Sarah Jemison Powell; sisters, Carla (Shaun) Render, Orlanda (Michael) Lykes, and Bonnie Powell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
