Dorothy Winnona (Hubbard) Hand

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Alabama and was a  member of Twenty Third Street Baptist Church of Ensley.  She was retired from the University of Alabama Birmingham after 30 years of service.  Funeral service will be saturday (August 3, 2019)  at noon at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield with Pastor O. C. Oden, Jr. officiating and interment in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.  Her loving survivors are: devoted brother; James Hubbard, Jr. and four very special cousins; Verla Edwards, Maggie (Homer) Mims, Shirley Faye (Rick) Ford and Yolanda Hubbard, other relatives and friends.  Her remains will lie in repose on Friday from noon until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
