Demetrius Lamont Kennedy was born on June 6, 1963 to the union of Helius Falconer and Mary Lee Kennedy in Birmingham, Alabama. He was educated in the Birmingham Public School System graduating from Ramsey High School Class of 1981. He continued his education by attending Tuskegee University before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and later enlisting in the United States Air Force. Funeral Service will be Saturday (16th) at 11:00 AM Living Stones Temple (1009 Walker Avenue 35217) with Pastor Dr. A. B. Sutton officiating and Pastor Kevin Nelson, Sr. Eulogist with interment in Valhalla Cemetery. His loving survivors are: devoted wife; Sheritta Morgan Kennedy, his children; Derrick Clarkson, Marcella (Kevin) Nelson, and Marian (DeAndre) Williams, his siblings; Clarence, Annie and Clovious Kennedy, eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in repose on Friday (15th) from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
