Dallas was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, United States Army Veteran, former employee of SouthTrust Bank. faithful member of Lilly Grove Baptist Church, and member of Amazon Masonic Lodge #95. Service of memory will be Saturday at noon at Mount Calvary Baptist Church McDonald Chapel (5920 England Avenue 35224) Pastor James Anderson, Jr. officiating with interment in Alabama National Cemetery. His loving survivors are: devoted daughters; Benita, Valerie (Clarence) and Felecia Blackmon, siblings; Alexander Blackmon, Rebecca Dubose, Bernice Thornton, Constance Franklin, Hortense (Frank) Morrow, Gwendolyn (Lorenzo) McClain, Jessica Russell, Theresa Williams, Theolene (Earnest) Munez, grandson; Bryant Blackmon and great grandaughter; Angel Brianna Blackmon, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
