Clemmie Jean (Webb) Etheridge

Clemmie Jean Webb Etheridge, passed away on December 28, 2018 at St. Martin in the Pines. Clemmie was born October 4, 1941, in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Robert and Ruby Webb.

Clemmie was predeceased by her parents Robert and Ruby Webb, her daughter Norita Etheridge, her three brothers,  William, Roosevelt and Robert Webb, three sisters Dorothy, Mary (Barrett)  and Margaret Webb. 

Jean attended Parker High School and Booker T. Washington Business School.  She was a homemaker who truly loved and enjoyed her family and showed that by doing things to enhance the beauty of the home.  Jean  enjoyed various things such as pampering herself by getting her hair and nails done, shopping (spending JOE’S Money), photography, cooking, baking and going out of her way to help anyone in need.  She enjoyed spoiling her grand and great grandchildren every opportunity available.  Along with those beautiful qualities she had an overwhelming love for Jehovah and has been a  Witness for the past 48 years diligently vindicating Jehovah’s name.  

Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband Joe Etheridge (proprietor of Etheridge Barber Shop) of Birmingham, AL, three daughters,  Kimberly, JoWanna and Natalie Etheridge of Birmingham, AL, three Grandchildren, Joy(Johnny) West of Pelham, AL,  Mark Smith Jr of Suwanee, GA, Diamond Amos of Birmingham, AL, Four Great Grandchildren Jomari, Janiyla, Xi and Harmoni' of Pelham, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends along with a  loving  caregiver and supporter to the end, Shirley Dial.

Service of memory will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 12 Noon at Kingdom Hall (5365 Springville Road 35126) with burial in Zion Memorial Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at Westside Funeral Home Fairfield.
