Clarice Gwendolyn Durr Tubbs

Clarice Gwendolyn Durr Tubbs was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 14, 1931, to the late Felton and Inell Durr. She graduated from A.H. Parker High School in 1949. Upon completing her secondary education she would go on and earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tuskegee Institute. Clarice decided to leave bedside nursing and started a career as a school nurse/educator. Her loving survivors are daughter; Carole Raye Porter; grandsons, Anthony Porter III and Mekhi Jackons; granddaughter; Rayya Porter; other relatives and friends.
