Charles Skipwith was born on January 7, 1948, to the late William Skipwith, Sr., and Ethel Dejarnette Skipwith. He was educated in the Jefferson County School System and graduated from Praco High School. Upon graduating he attended Florida A&M University where he studied Biology. He began his professional career as an Executive Director of J.C.C.E.O. and was also employed by Allstate Insurance. His loving survivors are: devoted wife Anita Skipwith; brother, Eugene Skipwith; nieces, Dian (Arthur) Kennedy, Patricia Smith, Allison Pullen, Melonie Grant, and Vanessa Daniel; nephews, Nathaniel Skipwith,Jr., Karl Skipwith, William Grant, Eric (Ingrid) Skipwith, Daryl (Mia) Skipwith and Christopher (Ke’Anna) Skipwith, sixteen grand nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
