Brenda was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Benjamin and Willie Williams Young on October 23, 1957. She received her education in the Birmingham Public School System graduating in 1976 from P. D. Jackson - Olin High School, and continued her education by attending Birmingham Southern Junior College. She was a faithful member of Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church Birmingham. Service of memory will be Tuesday (16th) at Metropolitan A.M.E. Church (1530 - 4th Avenue North 35203) Pastor Erskine Faush and Reverend James Howard will officiate with interment in Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo. Her loving survivors are: devoted husband; Derron Dwayne Jordan, children; Chad (Timika) and Keiasha Jordan, siblings; Nathaniel (LaTonya) Young, Valarie (Dexter) Bragg, Wanda (Belmont) Thomas and Bree Lynn Young, five grandchildren, nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in repose on Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
