Affectionately known as "Too Young" was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama who served his country with honor during the Korean War as a member of the U. S. Army. He was employed at American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) for over 36 years. Service of memory will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Westside Funeral Chapel Fairfield, Reverend Dr. Erskine Faush, Jr. and Reverend Dr. James Andre Howard will officiate with interment in Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo, Alabama. His loving survivors are: devoted children; Nathaniel (LaTonya) Young, Brenda (Derron) Jordan, Valarie (Dexter) Bracy, Wanda (Belmont) Thomas and Bree Young, siblings; Wylie Young, Jessie Givens, Jr., and Rosetta Crenshaw, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren along with many relatives and friends.
