Lifelong resident of Jefferson County (McDonald Chapel) graduate of Minor High School and Lawson State Community College. Former employee of Food World and faithful member of First Baptist Church Gary-Ensley where he served in the Deacon Ministry. Service of memory will be Saturday at noon at the church (1300 Trenton Place 35224) Pastor Edwin Burts, Sr. will officiate with interment in Valhalla Cemetery. His loving survivors are devoted sons; Anthony Jr. (Jennifer) and Cortney, siblings; Terrence (kisha) and Reverend Edwin (Darlene) Burts, Sr. and Marian Thomas, grandsons; Kaeden and Karter and many other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in repose on Friday from 1:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Westside Funeral Home Fairfield Directing.
